    At DGS FURNITURE iNC, we believe that the spirit of community is the cornerstone of our mission to provide low-income families with the furniture they need. Our Volunteer Services program is designed to engage compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

    Opportunities to Get Involved

    Furniture Collection and Delivery

    Volunteers help us collect gently used furniture from donors and deliver it to families in need. This vital role ensures that we can redistribute resources efficiently while creating a positive experience for both donors and recipients.

    Furniture Restoration and Maintenance

    Join our furniture restoration team to refurbish and repair donated pieces. Your skills can turn a worn-out item into beautiful, usable furniture for those who need it most.

    Community Outreach

    Assist in outreach initiatives to raise awareness about our services. This role involves speaking at local events, distributing informational materials, and connecting with potential donors and clients.

    Fundraising Events

    Help us organize and execute fundraising events that support our mission.

    DGS Furniture Inc. – Free Furniture Program Terms & Conditions

    1. Eligibility:

    • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements, including proof of financial need or crisis situation.

    • A valid photo ID and proof of residence are required.

    2. Furniture Availability:

    • Items are donated and provided on an as-available basis.

    • DGS Furniture Inc. cannot guarantee specific items or quantities.

    3. Pickup & Delivery:

    • Recipients are responsible for arranging pickup within 90 days of approval.

    • Delivery may be available at an additional cost or for special cases (subject to approval).

    4. Condition of Items:

    • Furniture is provided “as-is” with no warranties or guarantees.

    • DGS Furniture Inc. is not responsible for any damage or issues after pickup.

    5. No Resale Policy:

    • Recipients may not sell, trade, or profit from donated furniture.

    • Any violation may result in disqualification from future assistance.

    6. Liability Waiver:

    • DGS Furniture Inc. is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or accidents related to furniture use.

    • Recipients assume all risks upon receipt of items.

    7. Application Process:

    • Applications must be completed in full with accurate information.

    • Providing false information will result in disqualification.

    8. Program Changes & Termination:

    • DGS Furniture Inc. reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time.

    • Acceptance into the program does not create any ongoing entitlement
